March 2013: Teloschistes chrysophthalmus at Keyhaven


The Wessex Lichen Group Meeting to Keyhaven, on the New Forest coast, on the 16th March 2012, found a third Hampshire site for Goldeneyes Teloschistes chrysophthalmus. With most specimens found by Mark Jackson, Goldeneyes finder general. We found it at five locations, with 10 individual thalli. This species now seems to becoming well established along the south coast.
