September 2012: Teloschistes chrysophthalmus found in Hampshire
After the find of the beautiful southern species Teloschistes chrysophthalmus on the Isle of Wight earlier this year (link), and its previous discovery in Dorset and Kent, John Norton and Debbie Allan have filled in the gap with this wonderful find.
Teloschistes chrysophthalmus at Gosport
The Teloschistes chrysophthalmus was found on a Blackthorn at head height, roughly south facing, right at edge of saltmarsh on east coast of Gosport.
